I started the same way, Jim. Back in 1987 I had a Tandy with no hard drive and
2-5 1/2
inch floppies. then i went to a 'state-0f-the-art' Dos computer that was built
for me. It had
a whopping 40 mg hard drive. I used a word processing program called
Eight-In-One. I
had a Dot Matrix printer .
Then i graduated up the ladder to finally having DOS 6.1. That was an IBM
My first Windows computer was Windows 3.0, then 3.1 etc with another IBM.
I then had one built for me with Windows 95, then bought a Dell with Windows ME.
Another point i would like to make is that I'll bet I am older than you.
Where you have me beat is in the numbers of computers you have had. i have had
only 8
or 9.
I used to run my Goldmine Program in DOS. That program was so much faster and
easier
in DOS. When they came out with their first Windows program, it became a real
space hog.
