Hello Rupert ~
Thank you SO much!! I did go into the Control Panel as you suggested and
found it under Microsoft Net Framework, removed it, and did a re-start. Now
everything is back to normal and it goes directly to my desktop upon start
up without having to login. It was just a minor thing and certainly didn't
seem to hinder the performance of my computer, but like you, I found this
very annoying to have an account set up that I didn't even want and caused
me to have to login every time I started the computer.
