I got a new computer and transferred my burner from my old computer
to my new one and now my new computer is not reading either one of my
cd roms. I installed it correctly according to my manual instructions
and I matched everything up the way it was in my old computer. When I
open my computer it shows the (D) drive but it does not read the cd.
However I am able to "eject" the cd rom but both cd roms open when I
click eject. I had made the CD-RW the master and the other cd rom the
slave. But only one cd drive is showing when I open my computer. I am
unable to install the cd-rw software because neither cd rom is
reading the cd. Do I need to install any drivers? If so where can I
get them?

Can anyone PLEASE tell me how I can resolve this and get my cd-roms
working again as it was on my old computer????? PLEASE???? Here are
the details of my old and new computer.................

OLD COMPUTER- Dell Optiplex GX100 w/ XP 256 RAM 10G Hard drive.

NEW COMPUTER- E-Machine with 398 RAM and 80G Hard drive.

PLEASE HELP!
Cindy
