I just installed 2 80 Gigabyte drives in 2 desktops using windows 98 and had no problem at all. Unfortunately, I am much more used to working on desktops. Laptops are a whole new area for me. I suppose the different processor could come into play too. This is my first experience with AMD. All my other computers are Intel.
