3) I finally decided to reformat the machine. I used killdisk then fdisk64 to prepare the drive. Instead of using the Dell os of XP I used a clean OEM copy that I had. One feature I miss about the Dell setup was; if I wanted to reformat, all I had to do was hit cntr and the F11 key at boot. When I hit these keys a Symantic program came up and restored my drive back to where it was when I bought the machine. It prompted me for the key, name, password, etc. Question: The reformat program said it was Symantic and not Dell. Is this a program that only pc manufacturers have or can anyone buy this program? If yes, what is the program called? I don't think it was 'Go Back' since I had that before and it is nothing like the program I am talking about.
