  If your computer is anything like mine, here is the best way to determine its 
speed:

  1) Drop it off a building of known height.

  2) Using a stopwatch, time how long it takes to fall from the top of the 
building to the ground.

  3) Divide the height of the building by this number.  This will give you the 
speed of your computer in feet per second.

  4) Buy a better, faster computer.
