I believe a licence can be purchased to instal the O/S on another computer 
within the same household. http://www.microsoft.com/  Check out support.   I 
think it might be a comparable price to an upgrade rather than the full 
product.  Better to follow an acceptable route because nowadays we are being 
asked to validate our O./S before installing certain Windows software.
