Hi Mohammed

Have you enabled printer sharing for that specific printer ie

Start>Settings>Control panel>Printers

Right click printer
Select Properties
Select Sharing tab
Check "sahare this printer"

Hello Guys

i've two PCs , both of them under Workgroup "workgroup" environment.

The first OS is :windows 2000 prof.

The second OS is windows xp pro + SP2

On my Windows XP , I shared a printer " to everyone + I enabled the Guest
Account + I disabled SP2's firewall"

>From My windows 2000 Machine , when I try to use this shared printer on
windows xp machine

I've the following message

" Access Denied "

If I did ping on the windows xp machine , I got reply

If I tried to connect to that PC through START>RUN>
\\Windows_xp\Printer_sharedName <file:///\\Windows_xp\Printer_sharedName> i
got the same access denied.

Any Suggestions ?
