Standing up in a hammock maybe ;-) You have disabled the fw on the XP pc, but you should still be able to share with the fw operating by opening the fw from Control Panel and then, on the Exceptions tab, select the File and Printer Sharing check box. Is that the only fw installed on the pc? How are the two pc's networked are they through a router if so does the router have a built in fw, which may be denying access? On the W2k pc have you tried going to Control Panel and "adding" the printer again by browsing for it on the network? "Access Denied" definitely sounds like a fw problem, do you have a fw on the W2k pc that may not be allowing access?
