It's odd that you mention legacy in computer terms as I had not really
come across the expression before in that context.

I have just installed a new S-ATA drive on my PC and on the rear is a
'legacy' power connector i.e. the normal IDE hard drive 4 pin plug and
a new multi-pin connector for a SATA power connector; totally
different and since I don't have one, grateful for legacy :-))

However, my new SATA drive is wonderful and so fast!! But: it's fairly
old tech since it was established in 2002 ;-)
