Hi Sam

Yes I did notice you have W2000, I only have XP so W2000 may be different. The
lack of the Permissions option suggests that you are not logged on as an
Administrator. I still feel you are trying to install without Administrator
privileges (see Thomas's reply). When you log on at startup is there an option
to log on as an Administrator? How many users are there on your computer?

>>Administrator with full permissions".... would I find this somewhere else?

I only have XP and with XP all the users are listed at startup, some have
Administrator privileges and can add/ remove programs and other users are not
Administrators but restricted users who can not add/ remove programs. With XP
the list of users can be found in "Control Panel" under "Users".

Perhaps someone here was W2000 and can be of more help.

Rupert

Thanks for the get back, Rupert,
Following your instructions I could get to EDIT but couldn't find
PERMISSONS. The only options under EDIT are:

DLETE
RENAME
COPY KEY NAMES
COPY KEY NAME
FIND
FIND NEXT

(This is Windows 2000, for what it's worth)

When installing the program I merely click on a simple icons such
as "install", No option in the install program for "Administrator
with full permissions".... would I find this somewhere else?

Thanks again,
Sam
