Hi Catrina

Go to the A-1-Computer_Tech site here:

  http://groups.yahoo.com/group/A-1-Computer_Tech/

Click on the "Files" section, which is the fifth selection down on the left,
and
then scroll down until you see the "Rupert Folder", open it and copy the 4
files
to a floppy, the 4 files are:

Restoration
DLL32
DLL16
README

When you have copied them to a floppy double click the file Restoration.exe and
the program should run and you type in the files you are looking to restore and
the location e.g. Drive "C"

Well done backing up every 2 weeks, at least I now know you ain't blonde ;-)

Hi Rupert-thanks a bunch
i DID install it-but it says winzip is not on my system therefore i
guess i cant use the program
oddly enough-it said it cannot save onto a floppy so i used a cd
instead but the site DOES say you can save it onto a floppy

thanks anyway-i greatly appreciate it
2nd tech guy came over and was quite honest-my chances of retrieving
it was NIL!
LOL
I back up every 2 weeks-so i lost work from only 2 weeks ago
im just going to get a 2nd drive that will back up every day-make
life easier for me
good thing I back up the most important things
