First be happy that it doesn't just roast and die. I suppose that the 
problem could be poor ventilation. Do what you can to clean out the vent 
openings, perhaps with a vacuum cleaner. Costly is it might be to do so, I'd 
guess that the best bet is to have it repaired by a pro. One reason why 
buying an extended warranty is good with laptops, about the only kind of 
computer stuff that warrants extended warranties.
