Hi Thomas, MS will still support XP for some time, XP Pro will have a longer life cycle. Go to the following link and it will tell you the "end of Life cycle" for different versions of Windows, http://www.microsoft.com/windows/lifecycle/default.mspx Hope this helps, Debbie
