Thomas,

> I'm assuming that when Vista arrives, MS will no longer support XP??

don't think that is a valid assumption, although I cant speak for MS. They
were supporting 98 well past the release of XP. I was an electronics
technician including a broadcast tech and companies supported old
electronics for many years after the device was no long made At least they
would provide manuals and somtimes replacement parts.
