I tried this again, this time I opened the delete bin, used Control +A 
to highlight all the messages, the I used Control C to copy them and 
Control V to paste them into the folder. If you want them deleted you 
can use Control + X to copy. When you paste the originals will be pasted.

I tried that but it didn't work. Just open the folder and highlight the 
files and copy/paste of cut/paste them.
