Rixey, By installing the 'legal' version, over the 'illegal' version,
she wipe out the customized settings for XP Home but, you will not lose
data(even though it is still good to make backups). If she wants an
extra partition for ANYTHING, she should have thought about that, when
she first partitioned the 'physical' drive because, re-partitioning
after data/programs have been put on the drive, will cause data/programs
to be lost.
