My friend has a Compaq about 6 years old and doesn't have the restore disk.
The computer crashed and it keeps booting up saying run a virus check, but
the computer won't let her do anything.
What's the easiest way to resolve the problem? Can she just put Win2000 on
the computer and it will work (she was running that OS when it crashed)?
What about the drivers for the computer, wouldn't those still be lost?
Any help is appreciated. I don't have much info about the computer, that's
why I am looking for general answers right now.
