I believe it had something to do with hitting the control and arrow keys at the same time because by repeating my steps on the keys I was hitting reversed my screen back to normal because it worked.

From what you just said, I'm thinking, NO, Because I can't imagine a game that would change the view orientation that way permenantly. It must have been a feature of the game for chaning view options or monitor orientation.
