I did not fix the problem inside the game it was outside of the game. I guess I may have stumbled onto something. It appears that by constantly hitting I believe the control key or possibly shift key at the same time as the arrow keys rotated the "windows" on the screen. "Windows" seemed to have rotated sideways on the screen. I had never seen anything like it before but I am very glad I was able to get back to normal!
