Yes, when you build your own machine then you don't have any bundlerd
software OR any factory rescue dieks. But you aren't really left in the
learch. Just get a cloning program, I use Ghost. When I get my computer set
up the way I want, junk bundled software removed, my installed software
installed. Then I run the cloning program. The one thin you may need is to
clone the hard drive. But if you are installing the OS then you can use the
partitioning feature to partition the drive. That gives you at least one
partition to clone your C partition to. one of the other ones. Keep in mind
that the partitin to which you clone C will have to be about the same size
as C. I have partition magic because I sometimes have as many as three
computers or more. and I keep playing around in ways that expand the size of
my
C partition. So I am able to non destructive repartitioning.

So what you may need are cloning software and partitining software. For
partitioning besides PM is G-Parted, a free iso file that you burn to a CD.
For cloning, besides Ghost is Acronis, which also costs, I think it was
about $70. Both can be googled.
