Now I have another question for all of you! My new computer came with Norton Anti-Virus (for 60 days free). I am not crazy about Norton, and would like some opinions on which Anti-Virus programs all of you like best. I am not going to get anything new until I hear from you all... Thanks so much! Patty ^v^ ^v^ ^v^~~~~ Paris's Reply ~~~~^v^ ^v^ ^v^ Patty I have 80 days remaining on mine, and it is driving me crackers, plus its the first time I have ever been infected by cool websearch. I use Avast normally, Rupert does as well, but he also/or perhaps Mrs Bear uses AVG on another computer. In fact in the A-Ztec group Rupert answers all the questions on Avast. I've been very happy using Avast for the last 3 years, but I may install AVG on my newest computer, to see how good it is, I already use their anti-spyware program. Avast .Home Free (_http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html_ (http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html) ) AVG anti-virus (_http://free.grisoft.com/doc/2/lng/us/tpl/v5_ (http://free.grisoft.com/doc/2/lng/us/tpl/v5) ) AVG anti-spyware (_http://free.grisoft.com/doc/20/lng/us/tpl/v5_ (http://free.grisoft.com/doc/20/lng/us/tpl/v5) ) Quite frankly I would pay for the free edition of Avast, which has never let me down unlike Norton, which I would be tempted to pay to get rid off. One of my to do things is to get the Norton removal tool, also I understand that McAfee is no better, but if you do not remove them completely they plague you with messages and it can mess up the installation of your new anti-virus program.
