Thanks Jim.
I should have been more clear and given more information, sorry.
The HP's I have both are pre-installed with Windows XP ( UGH!)
The new computer that came today is Windows XP Media Center, my old
one is just XP. If this matters.
Also, my old computer that I am using now is half dead, messing up
and I get Alot of error messages, some M$ says are caused by a HP
Printer drive disk for which HP has no fix for. I unplugged the
printer and now get different error messages. I tell you this so you
know I don't want to put anything on the new machine that is messed
up from this old one.
I want to put the programs I've paid for and some freebies I like &
use too on the new PC.
Also want to do whatever it is I need do so my isp will know me
online and I can continue to use the same account. Hope I explained
that so can be understood.

I can use my external Maxtor and Ghost to do the transfere, IF I know
what to transfere that won't mess up the new pc.

This should be easier to do! LOL
