I don't think it was this group but I got one message from someone who
wanted to know how to remove the Sony system from his flash drive that can
as a present because of the headaches it caused him. I found the remover. I
would never buy anything that promised the earth like that, far sooner buy
that plain old memory stick. But that is just me!!!!

Usually only size and price. The flash is more portable of course.

Hi:
The largest flash drive I have seen in stores is an 8GBs by Sony and I
bought one on special price for $59 a short while back. This memory comes
with a
preloaded compression software that Sony says will allow 24GBs in
compression
mode. However, I don't know how you would get Pictures or Games that
compressed and still make them worth using. My "C" drive alone uses 11.3
GBs and I
will shortly try in into that 8 GBs flash drive in compression mode as I
have no compressed graphics on my "C" drive.

$59 is about all I'm ready to pay for a flash drive and I think in less
than
a year we will be seeing 16 GBs for that price. Bye

Emile
