Usually only size and price. The flash is more portable of course.

Hi:
The largest flash drive I have seen in stores is an 8GBs by Sony and I
bought one on special price for $59 a short while back. This memory comes with
a
preloaded compression software that Sony says will allow 24GBs in compression
mode. However, I don't know how you would get Pictures or Games that
compressed and still make them worth using. My "C" drive alone uses 11.3 GBs
and I
will shortly try in into that 8 GBs flash drive in compression mode as I
have no compressed graphics on my "C" drive.

$59 is about all I'm ready to pay for a flash drive and I think in less than
a year we will be seeing 16 GBs for that price. Bye

Emile
