Hi,
I wonder if someone could help me out here, I have just added in a
WNAP
to my network to enable laptops both up and downstairs to be able to
get a good signal and I find that I cannot get access to the browser
based setup page/menu.
The actual IP address given in the manual is 192.168.2.254 and
entering
this into my browser does not find the menu, instead it googles the
address. I can get into the setup page / menu on the wireless router
with no problems but the access point, NO.
The system is working ok, I can see both the wireless router and the
access point / extender and can log onto either one perfectly but the
access point / extender unit is not secured and this is how I came to
find out that the address given in the manual is not working.
I have typed into the "RUN" command on the PC "ipconfig" in an
attempt
to see if I could find out the correct address via that route only to
see the program run quickly and the window just as quickly closes
again
and so any messages displayed in the window are lost. Is there a
program that I could download that would provide some sort of
interrogation of the IP addressses on my network or what?
