Hi Holly, I cleaned a computer for someone two weeks ago that was using Spyware Doctor.
I ran Spybot and SuperAntiSpyware and both found stuff that Spyware Doctor did not find. No Spyware scanner finds everything, that's why it is necessary to run more than one, preferable three or four. So if I were you I would run the others as well. Spybot Search and Destroy http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/ SUPERAntiSpyware Free Edition http://www.superantispyware.com/download.html Malwarebytes http://www.download.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html? cdlPid=10878968 or the shorter url: http://tinyurl.com/3konjo I run four or five once a month. Don't set them to scan in the background as that can slow a computer down. Did an on line scan at Trend Micro yesterday and came away clean and as we speak/write PcCillin is doing a complete scan here. I will try to cull from my address book any one's I don't need (it's amazing how they accumulate) and send out an email to the ones that are left. I did receive a call from a gal from church saying she had received something from HOLLY and she started to delete it but noticed my address which is in the church directory. I checked and her address is in my gmail book so I don't have to worry about the directory. PcCillin just completed it's virus check and it says I'm clean. I will be better prepared if it happens again. Thanks, much.
