hi, group !
i'm a newbie ! please don't laugh !
so, i'm teaching myself HTML and i went thru an exercise and here are
the instructions for opening...
Save the file as "mypage.htm".
Start your Internet browser. Select "Open" (or "Open Page") in the
File menu of your browser. A dialog box will appear. Select "Browse"
(or "Choose File") and locate the HTML file you just created -
"mypage.htm" - select it and click "Open". Now you should see an
address in the dialog box, for example "C:\MyDocuments\mypage.htm".
Click OK, and the browser will display the page.
here's my question - - WHERE is open ? i don't have a file menu in
my browser....or do i and have no idea how to find it ? i do go
into 'my documents' where i saved it, clicked on it and got my web
page...but, what are they talking about above ?
thank you so much, in advance. i realize these may be very basic
questions to some of you, so i am truly grateful that you're taking
your time to educate me.
