I also got that the OP wanted to plug his headset and speakers in at the same time. also when you are using a splitter box you only have one source it just means you can plug more Items into it that sound can come out of. Also I do know that some headsets do have usb plug and not a jack. And the fact that the op wants to plug both in at the same time indicate that he has a jack plug. I am sorry I keep bringing this up but I am not some smuck that just joined this forum, I do know my hardware because not only do I build computers but I also play guitar and bass in which I have seen lots of splitters out there and they all have the same thing,
