yes Either the SD card or thumb drive aka flash drive can both play mp3's. The SD card needs an adapter to be read such as a card reader or phone, while the thumb drive can be plugged into any thing with a usb port such as newer car stereos or any computer/laptop. If you are looking for a more portable way then mp3 players are the way to go, they range from 128megabyte to 10gigabytes

Regarding the flashdrive, it downloads music or audio? Can it be played through an MP3 player or portable audio device? --- On Thu, 10/23/08, Ian <[EMAIL PROTECTED] net> wrote: From: Ian <[EMAIL PROTECTED] net> Subject: Re: [A-1-Computer_ Tech] question about flash drive To: A-1-Computer_ [EMAIL PROTECTED] .com Date: Thursday, October 23, 2008, 4:16 AM A Flash drive is a form of portable hard drive. They come in small cards that go in a camera or in your modern computer for instance or they come as memory pens that plug into a USB port on your computer. Both types, like the Hard Drive, can be written to and deleted from. Both are very small and easy to carry about. Both have sizes ranging from 128mg to 8 or more gb. But I was thinking it should be Something I should learn. (I'm 65 almost, not born in the computer Age.) What is a flash drive? What does it do?
