As long as you have a .zip handling program on your computer it should 
take no more than double clicking on the .zip file to open it in the zip 
file program. Once there, you use the Extract command to decompress the 
files within the .zip archive to a folder on your hard drive.

Once you have the uncompressed file or files in a folder on your hard 
drive, start the driver update process for your USB port and when it 
asks for the driver, point it at the folder you saved the files in.

All zipping is, is compressing a file or group of files so that they 
take up less space so downloading them takes less time, nothing to be 
afraid of... 8-)
