Why do you see "Smart Bridge Alerts: MotiveSB.exe - Entry point not found"
error?
Most users see SmartBridge Alert about GetProcessImageFileNameW procedure entry
point when they install Internet Explorer 7 or some other software that
modifies files SmartBridge uses. The most often modified file is PSAPI.DLL.
Newly installed software puts another version of this file into Windows folder
and MotiveSB program uses this file instead of the one that was provided with
its installation. New PSAPI.DLL has another entry point of
GetProcessImageFileNameW procedure so Motive SB.exe which loads on windows
startup can't work properly. SmartBridge Support did not work out the solution
of this problem. Fortunately, you will find the complete solution on this page.

Subject: [A-1-Computer_Tech] Issue Need Solving

Hi,

Can you help me solve this issue please?

This is what I have on the screen each time I start up my computer but
I just cannot get rid of it. I updated the computer months ago this
year per the message on the screen.

Ok...here is what I have on the screen:

SmartBridge Alerts: Motive SB.exe-EntryPoint Not Found

The procedure entry point GetProcessImageFile NameW could not be located
in the dynamic link library PSAPI.DLL.

Can you walk this through with me via email?

Thank You!

Marcia
