I would suggest downloading VMware Server (or buy VMware Workstation)
and virtualize the computer with VMware Converter onto a newer
computer.. if you're are absolutly stuck with the software, that is.  

No sense putting good money in something not worth it. A system like
that can easity be replaced for new around $300.
