Hi -
I imagine un-checking the item called "Address Bar" should do it.  But 
you might want to uncheck "Favorites" too.  You can always go back in 
and change it back.

Also:
Here's another solution that worked for a LOT of people:
Seems I found a quick solution, Click the Start button>Control 
Panel>System And Maintenance>Indexing Options, Click on Internet 
Explorer History, Click ADVANCED, Click RESTORE DEFAULTS. Problem Solved!
