I didn't know where else to ask this. I have a remote control device for an adjustable bed and the bed mechanism is not responding. I opened up the remote & found that some of the small gold colored striped circles were either worn away or looked gunky. I was told by a friend who worked on computers that when these little doodads are burnt out or worn away they are no good any more. Question: what are those little gold colored circles stamped on the circuit board and can they be fixed or cleaned up?
