Hello, I have a Dell that is about 10 years old. I purchased a Seagate External Hard Drive and my computer doesn't recognize it. The hard drive itself will light up when plugged in but that is about it. Computer also won't recognize one of our ipods yet does recognize other ones.
Anyway, my computer guy says my computer (the ports?) is probably to old and that is why. Is there not any type of adapter or something I can get or do to resolve this? Right now I'm deleting some music and photos. I don't have the money yet for a new computer. laurie [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ If you have any questions or problems with any aspect of this site, please feel free to contact me directly [email protected] Please do not post personal issues directly to the group.
