I did some quick searching for unlocked android slider phones.  I could 
only find 2 models of Android sliders, but unfortunately they aren't 
unlocked.  They are tied to Virgin Mobile Pre-paid and (I think) can not 
be unlocked at all.  I actually owned and used this one on Virgin Mobile 
for a while:

android features.  I am still a Virgin Mobile pre-paid customer but with 
a newer phone.  VM has some pretty nice pre-paid plans at good prices.  
No contract at all, no monthly bill, no federal fees or taxes.

This was the only android flip phone (clam shell) I could find at all.
