Simon, you appear to start out with the assumption that there is a
total separation between scientific methodology and things ‘mystic’.
And, it seems that this axiom of yours is at or near the foundation of
your epistemology.

By analogy, there would be no way to respond to your argument by
rhetorical question in a way that you could easily assimilate and
accept just as there was no way to describe our world to the
inhabitants of Flatland.

I do grok and appreciate your evangelical empiricism and further am
quite content in not questioning it let alone attempting to convince
you of possible meme options.
