Yes I agree that the use of words and concepts, being subjective in nature, often results in “rampant communication failure”. This is obvious.
On such boards as A vs C etc., all too often the apparent lack of communication is feigned and is grounded in an attachment to a narrow and limiting belief set. Example: God is. Prove god is. God is. Come on now, PROVE IT! God is…I know it! What evidence do you have? .I know it! . . . .etc. On Aug 19, 6:27 pm, "Simon Ewins" <[email protected]> wrote: > On Thu, 19 Aug 2010 20:33:33 -0400, ornamentalmind > > <[email protected]> wrote: > > Bridge, there are and have been numerous definitions for ‘science’, > > ‘scientific method’, ‘scientific’ etc. One need not limit one’s self > > to a single meaning just as most do not limit other words and concepts > > to but one. > > Which would be a major cause of the rampant communication failure one sees > around us. > > -- > "Music is my religion" [Jimi Hendrix] > > "Believe those who are seeking the truth.
