IMHO, the 'V:x + notes' in BarFly does not follow the general spirit
of ABC in which the 'x:' fields are never followed by any notes.

For me (abcm2ps), the V: should contain:
- only the name ('name' or 'nm') and subname ('subname' or 'snm') of
  the voice in the header.
- nothing in the tune.

Then, all the staff printing layout should be described in some other
field, and here is my wish list about it (some items are already defined
by %%staves):

   - on which staff the voices go.
   - brace and bracket definition.
   - bar drawing (line or not between staves).
   - same voices in different staves.
   - floating voices (automatic voice skip from staff to staff).
   - clef changes (per staff and without changing the basic pitch,
i.e. no transposition as in K:bass).
   - staff definition change (voice mute, voice exchange, ..).
   - more specific voice indication (per staff) as 'stem up/down',
     'nolyric', ...

If anybody has an idea for this staff specification ('s:?')...

Also, about playing, it would be nice to have more than one MIDI channel
per voice (any idea James? :).
