Frank is right, overall, the slur handling is very impressive in abc2ps.

However, here's an example that breaks it:

X:1
M:4/4
L:1/4
R:hornpipe
Q:1/4=130
K:C
%%%%%
(3(c'ge) z2

The slur collides with the bracket over the triplet. Visually speaking, I'm
not sure how this should be resolved. Either the slur or the bracket needs to
be raised.

Which makes me wonder, are there any good reference works on the finer points
of music typography? I find that I'm developing an interest in these odd
little details.

Back on the subject of abc -- should I submit the tuplet/slur issue as a
"wish list" item for future releases, or do the developers of the various
abc2ps programs participate in this list?

Yours,

- Matt
