I've noticed that Chuck Sher uses rests in tuplets in "The Improvisor's Bass Method".
That's the same Chuck Sher who publishes the "New Real Book" jazz chart series, so
it's quite possible that tuplets in rests are part of the jazz idiom. I must have
picked it up somewhere....
Anyway, thank you, James, for adding the rests-in-tuplets form of notation to your
"wish list of yaps extensions".
