somewhere in the context of pseudocomments with abc2ps I read that a
pseudocomment (wich is maybe another solution to your problem if this is
working in abc4mac) if applying to a certain tune has to be AFTER the
T:field. Probably an E:field like this has to be part of the header
meaning before the first K:field. At least this is a version which you
did not try.

this works with my version of abc2ps (used cm since I have no inch
ruler). I tried your examples wit it and got no result too. ?:-|
