I've started making ABC transcriptions of Tersichore. You can get the
ones I have at:

At the moment there are 12 complete ones, two with just the tune and
bass part and two with just the tune there.
I'll be adding a couple more during the next few weeks, but don't expect
a complete edition. I don't have all the tunes myself, and as I've said
earlier, it'd be far too much work for a single person in any case. (But
maybe somebody would like to join me in the work?)

I tried that approach, but frankly midi2abc isn't nearly powerful enough
for this kind of music. I had full control over the midi source files,
and used every unwritten rule in the book to make them as midi2abc
friendly as possible. But the post-processing work was still so much,
I'd just as well type the ABC manually.
