Excellent piece of work.  If you have the sheet music, and you'd like to
scan a few pages and mail the pics to me I'll make a contribution.

Yes, it's something that we really need, a sophisticated midi parser which
can track tempo changes, detect and compensate for stress patterns and
deal with music which is as complex as abc can handle.  There are huge
collections of midi files out there which would be so much more useful
in abc format.  Maybe I'll have a go at it once I get BarFly to a state
where I can leave it alone for a while.
