On the other hand if that's what the publisher wants to do, why not? If the music is going to be published on the Web, and if the page images are individually useful, you would almost certainly want the composer or copyright holder identified on every page. This sort of thing needs to be controlled outside the ABC source; it's a matter of house style rather than anything intrinsic to the music.
