I have made a lot of progress with MOZART's abc import, but as you
indicate I still have a long way to go. I am trying to steer clear
of multipart files until a spec turns up.

(MOZART's main difficulty is that it is fussy about the number of
beats in a bar. I know Music Publisher isn't. There are swings and
roundabouts - but given that a lot fo Chris Walshaw's first simple
examples - an obvious place to start - do not respect the number of
beats in a bar, I suspect you had an easier time of starting than I
did.)

That is what I was afraid of.

Me too. I gather he seems to have let go of abc.

Always the optimist eh Bernard?

Still one can always try :-)
