I have made a remark that explicit accidentals may be applied to the individual notes, by software that cannot print key signatures. It is reasonable to reduce any bar lines or repeat symbols that you cannot handle to a simpler form. I.e. reduce "|:::" to "|:" > If you leave such constructs in version 2 you are actually inviting > existing music software (such as Sibelius or Finale or any software What you call "strange" key signatures, is standard notation among musicologists, Klezmer musicians etc. Finale can certainly deal with them, even a simple program like Noteworthy Composer has support for them! If there are any other features that you would consider non-standard, let us know.
