Last night I hacked up abc2midi to use pitchbends to correctly renderer microtones. I'll post those changes soon... (BTW: if anyone knows the MIDI byte sequence to set the pitchbend sensitivity... let me know. It's been years since I hacked any MIDI...)
Think I like your syntax: using a forward slash to divide the sharps and flats.
Yes and I think the extension of ^x/y and _x/y to
indicate further divisions of the range is obvious. And I think is very parse-able.
