If you are saying we are supporting platforms that don't have an
sh-compatible scripting language with the more common Unix tools, 
nor the facility to compile them, we are in trouble. But I can't 
really believe that, as we are using many sh/Unix-specific things in our 
Makefiles.

If you are saying we are supporting platforms that don't have
autoconf ported to them, I would like to know which ones we are
talking about - it can't be hard to port it to them.
